Texting lag

I have read a lot about this during my time here and I'm sure most incredible users are aware of this already.

I was wondering if there might be a fix in the works with an up and coming virtuous Rom?

Basically, ever since the installation of 2. 2 about half of the time whenever I type characters on my keyboard there is a delay from when I type them and when they appear in the text box. I have seen this subject brought up before but maybe it is not as common as I thought. It's as if my phone is just slow but it runs fast in any other situation and I am using the stock keyboard.

Could be the kernel. Which Virtuous kernel are you running?

The only time I ever notice a texting lag is when I have a huge text with someone, containing multiple pictures, and like 200+ messages. To solve the problem, I just end up deleting the thread and starting a new one. Other than this, I never experience lag through email or sms in general.

Not sure if that helps your problem, but just thought I'd share my experience.
