I try text a Long message and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus only allows me to type one box with a limit then I have to send then continue my text on a new message ...why doesnt it let me send 2-3 at one time?

The stock messaging app may not be able to do that. You could try another messaging app. Handcent and Go SMS are popular. You could also try sending MMS instead of SMS. MMS has a 1000 character limit.
