Texting to Canada with Metro?

I was wondering if I can text someone in canada without the Value Bundle, which I do have. I did check on their website to see what carriers I could text internationally and Canada wasn't on the list. The website also seems to be giving conflicting information. For example, screen it says that you can identify calls from Canada, US and Puetro Rico. Yet at the same time, it says that it will cost money to CALL Canada, and not text (which I assuming is free because of the value bundle)

I am able to send and recieve texts from Canada however regardless. But is it free?

Any help and clarification would be appreciated!

try it and find out. worse case is it wont go thru. metro is prepaid so they dont bill you for anything so you cant rack up charges if it works itll go thru if not it just wont work.

I text a few family members in the Toronto area frequently and never have been accessed any extra fees for the 1.5 years I have been with Metro.
