Textra asking current user to sign in?

I have been using Textra sms for several years. Why is app asking me to sign up as though I'm a new user? I still receive texts.

What do you mean by "sign in"? I've used Textra off and on for many years (paid too) and never been asked to sign in. In fact I've looked through the settings and can't see anything to sign in to. So what exactly are you seeing?

I removed Textra, so I don't have the app to screenshot you. Basically it was asking me to sign up again for Textra. I lost trust in the app. Thanks.
