Textra keyboard access problem

Have galaxy s5. went to Textra for messaging some months ago. Have been having a problem getting to the keyboard to make corrections[using voice composing]. when I hit the X next to the draft text, it takes me to the imogens. can't get to the keyboard.

I use Textra, and only used the Voice Option one time.

it does not understand TexMexOkie speak.... so that was the only time, I ever tried it.

but, I would think the Back button would get you to the keyboard. it did for me.

Are you using stock keyboard? Using SwiftKey here, when tapping the X in the upper right corner, it takes me back to regular keyboard.
