Textra not showing all text messages?

I am trying out Textra and its not showing all my messages that stock has saved?? is there a setting or something I am missing ? TY

Is there anything the ones it isn't showing have in common? Particular person, or something about the content?

And just in case it's relevant, what is your stock app? Textra can only do SMS/MMS, not e.g. Hangouts messages.
