Texts and podcasts display on radio

Samsung support was no help. My former S7 Active did 2 things my Note 9 isn't doing. When I am driving my 2017 Honda CRV and get a text, I want it to display on my radio and be read to me. How do I accomplish this? Also, I use Castbox for a podcast player. When I play a podcast my radio only displays 'Galaxy Note 9.' How do I display what the podcast is about, like my phone shows? Any help or clues are appreciated.

Sounds like the Honda is the culprit, not displaying is the issue.

I thought about that first. When I select Phone Menu and then Text/E_mail I get the message 'Your phone does not appear to support this function. Some phones may have an additional setting to enable this feature'

Sure I've read at least two other reports of same thing with some Samsung phones, with apparently not showing info on car systems via Bluetooth.
