This is sort of a pointless thread but I feel very inclined to express my gratitude toward the community surrounding the LG Spectrum on here.
Thank you.
Last April, I purchased my first smartphone which was an LG Lucid. Prior to this, I had no knowledge of Android. That phone gave me continuous problems and after 3 replacements, Verizon gave me a Spectrum and hoped that I'd go away. As time went on waiting for the ICS update, I found out what rooting was and wanted to try flashing a ROM since it looked cool and different from stock but I messed up badly and did not want to ask for help since I didn't want to appear like a 'noob'.
Eventually, I posted a thread asking for help because I was very confused and I got very friendly responses that both helped and informed me. I now know what rooting is, how to flash a rom, unlock the bootloader all that and I want to thank you guys for that. I also want to thank you guys for making this phone awesome to use after we got ICS due to tdm's work (and everyone else's help!) with CM and AOKP. I recently got an S4 and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone before I stop using my Spectrum.
So...thanks!
Thank you.
