That frigging twirly icon

Just went Boost, got a Samsung Prestige 4GLTE with KitKat 4.4.4. The little twirling LTE icon in the notification bar is very annoying. Any way to get it to sit still?

If you root the phone you can.

Check for updates to the phone, I heard awhile back that Sprint released an update to remove it.

Don't know if it was for all phones, or if it applied to Boost though.

No matter how many times I ask, "The updates have already been installed."

Figured someone would say root... ain't worth the risk/trouble.

You can root it easily with Kingroot. It's a one click method
Then you can use xposed to tweak the status bar and many many other aspects til you hearts desire.

Sometimes it takes a few tries but don't give up. Just keep trying.

I tried that a few years ago on a another phone and made it a one brick method. Thanks, but this issue is too trivial to try that again.
