The article pretty well pegged the fact that it's all marketing hype.

While I look forward to Verizon releasing LTE, assuming I even bother getting a LTE capable phone, I'll likely continue using WiFi whenever and whereever possible...

yeah so everyone doesnt have real 4g, thats fine.

tmobile is really fast no doubt, but i dont like that they went back and decided that they can call hspa+ 4g.

it would have been fine had they done it from the beginning, but i think it was a snake move to go back and do it...thats just my .02

Even if WiMax and LTE are not "true 4G", they're still significant improvements from the 3G networks in place today.

I disagree. At least ATT has basic edge coverage in most places. T-Mo doesn't.

Article talks about 4G standard defined by ITU and how none of the carrier's '4G' lives up to the standard. It would be NICE to know what the standard is and not take the author's word for it.

Interesting article..I think most people (here) knew that 4G wasn't really '4G'...
