The best base building strategy game

Hello,
I am looking for a base bulding strategy game, which includes exploring your base, PvP conquering and in which can you loot more types of resources (as wood/dirt/iron/ ...).
Doesn't need to be medieval. The era and amount of fantasy elements are not so much important for me.

Yep, about 6 years ago I my favourite game was Backyard Monsters for example (on Facebook), what a game...
When I enter the google play store, I see lot of games like Clash of Clans, Castle Clash, Clash Royale, Lords Mobile, Forge of Empires, Boomb Beach, ...
Need an advice from somebody, who is into it and can judge, which one is worth it.
