The best facebook app ??

Hi guys ive just thanks to the posts on here updated to Gingerbread and the phone is now super fast,but.. what facebook app is the best as the run o the mill android one is soooo slow in syncing with whats going on-i mean i get friend requests from two weeks ago ffs any help would be cool. at the mo im just using the mobile facebook site saved bookmark on the home screen.

Try uninstalling and re-install the facebook app, it works perfectly for me.

Friendcaster is a decent alternative to FB.

using friendcaster now seems ok just hope it updates in "realtime" ? cheers guys

I have been using friendcaster. The fb app itself hasn't been that reliable for notifications, sometimes I get an email or text but not all the time.

I used FriendCaster Pro for a while and liked it. I also tried the old and the new Facebook apps. Now, I am on a minimalist kick and I am using the mobile web page from Dolphin HD with text message notifications turned on. That is really all that I need and works great. The new Dolphin HD rocks!
