The dock is connected

I've had my phone for about a year without any problems. Starting today, I started getting this message and it will stop charging. And even when it does charge, the fast charge won't work at all. Anyone know how I can fix this issue?

the fast charging issue maybe if you've updated to marshmallow then you have to switch a toggle to enable it now in the battery section in settings.. as for the dock connected don't know but maybe one out of two isn't bad

I haven't updated to marshmallow yet. I think it's possible that the charging port got a little wet because I was walking in the rain today and got pretty wet.

maybe stick it in bowl of rice and put it in the airing cupboard and try again

Well, I don't have any rice but it randomly started working again. Hopefully it continues to.
