The edge Plus People handle position is not displayed in lock screen

Hi ,
I bought the edge plus and my fiancee got the edge but her phone shows the "People Edge" handle in the lock screen. Mine does not. Yes I did select the "Show edge screen handle on " ->All screens and even tried "On home screen and lock screen" but nothing happened. Mine shows up only when I unlock my phone. Is there a difference between the 2 phones for this feature? or is something wrong with the software on the edge plus?

Mine does not show up on the lock screen either, even though it's set to.

I found out that if the hide content of the notifications is ON then it won't show up in the lock screen ...sucks

What provider are you guys using? Is it Verizon?
