the external speaker is off how do i turn on

I have a droid razer. For some reason the external speaker is not working is there a way to turn it on from the settings or some where else?
 
Hello and welcome to AndroidForums.com. First make sure your different volumes for media, system, notifications are turned up in your settings menu under audio. In your notification bar you should not see a vibrating icon nor a speaker with a line through it. Test a music file and see if you can hear it. If you can't, it may be stuck in headphone mode. Plug in headphones into the audio jack and then unplug to see if the speaker sound returns. I hope this helps.
