I know lots of galaxy mini users faces or faced such a problem as when u enable wifi it keeps scannning and trying to obtain the ip address and then disconnected!!
I faced this problem myself and looked all over the solution with no result but i found the solution yesterday n it worked perfectly for me
all u have to do is a factory reset just move ur stuff to sdcard and then :
Power off the phone then turn it on again and while opening click the power button with the home screen button together and u get a screen that allows you to do the factory reset easily!!
