THE GOOGLE WONT WORK

So since ive bought my S7, my google app wont work. It works fine when i search something in chrome, but if i search something in the google app search bar on my home screen, a notification pops up saying the google app has stopped working. The app is up to date but still no luck. Any of Y'all know anything about this?

Try tossing that bar in the trashcan by long pressing it then dragging it up to the can. Then restart your S7 using a long press on the power button and choosing Restart. Once your back to the home screen long press on a blank spot and choose widgets. Select the Google app widget and drag it to the home screen.
