I was reading about the project on his site the other day. It looks fantastic, but I got the impression that it was a one-mand-band, rather than a fully-fledged project that had traction.

If it could be pulled off however, I can see that it would have wide appeal, not necessarily limited to the intended users. The prospect of a secure and easy-to-use, integrated mobile OS would be useful to most people, I think.
