When HTC announced the One A9, we were told that OTA updates would be swift and shouldn't take longer than 15 days.
It's been longer than 15 'regular' days, but you can never tell how long a software update will take. However, Android Central has been in touch with an HTC USA representative and they said the A9 update is just waiting to receive Technical Acceptance from Google.
As soon as HTC gets TA from Google(which they are expecting to be sometime today), then the OTA update will immediately start rolling out to USA variants of the One A9.
