The new dude on the block

JRHOLDSEM

Lurker
Hey guys as a new registered member I wanted to stop bye and say hello. I have been an iphone user for since their invention and im over their BS. With that said im looking to buy a used or new android device. What device is the most compatible for rooting. I would like to get the full android experience. Features I would like to have are third party apps, in app purchase hacks, tethering, just to name a few. I appreciate any feedback and plan on being a productive member of this community!

Welcome to Android Forums!

I feel I must point out that we here at Androidforums.com do not support/condone/tolerate and app/software piracy, it is viewed as stealing from the developers, devs are the very life blood of what android is all about, I'm sure you understand. :)

That said the best device for you all depends on what carrier you want to be on and how much is in your budget. :)

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Your best line should be to narrow your search for the perfect phone for YOU would be to choose a carrier. Take a look at the devices that fit your budget and have properties that seem appealing. Next you can use these forums to do get some real insight to the device by checking out it's support/discussion area here at AF. The users own that device and by reading their like/dislike for the device you should be able to choose the perfect Android phone.
Here is a link to the Android phone discussion areas here. Have fun.

Nightangel I know you feel the need to push you weight around as a moderator but I'm here to tell you that I'm not looking to steal anything! Rooting is completely legal so don't act like or treat someone as is not. Let me rephrase my question what device would alow me to get the most of the android rooting experience? If it was the in app purchase hack you are referring to I'm speaking about app that allow you to use them as a trial period then purchase the complete app if you like it. I know its your job to pass judgement upon others but you happen to be out of line on this one!!

Make no mistake, I am passing no judgement here, merely pointing out that a hack to get around paying for an app, be it an 'in app purchase' or whatever is against forum policy. No one is 'pushing their weight,' that's not how we roll here. Since I can't read minds and have no idea what you meant I thought it prudent to point out our policy on the matter, just in case. No harm no foul.

Android Forums welcomes you as a member and hopes all your questions (within site rules :)) are answered. Have a nice day :)
