The Palm Palm...Not the Answer to any Question

At this point there is so little Palm DNA in the thing, you may as well stick a Palm label on a Banana

I was aiways against "Convergence" so small phone with aaPDA works for me, but aa bi phone with small phone working together on the same number sounds like a waste to me.

OUCH!

(My eyes just rolled so hard it hurt.)

Actually, I'm sure that in the planning meeting there was a product manager with pointy hair.

:D This has PHB written all over it doesn't it?

Maybe I missed it, but do you actually need a "normal" phone for that thing to function?

No, I believe it's a fully functional phone, with the intention of "weaning people off their normal phone". But I don't think the company itself really know what this phone is for. They must have the management from my previous company working there, who thought it would be a damn good idea to spend 10 years developing a software product that nobody wanted to use. Hey, it was real fun for us engineers, while it lasted.

What I heard was it doesn't have a removable SIM card so it has to be progammed at the carrier. It's a tiny phone that can work with others but needs a carrier plan to work alone.

Oh this gets better. Plus you have to stump up $350 for the privilege.
