the total size of apps in the task manager is only 75mb. but the phone memory is used 150mb.

my phone is galaxy ace 5830i.
when i open the task manager i added the size of the apps installed to get the total space used by the apps. i got only 75mb by adding the apps. but the task manager shows that 150mb used by the apps and the free memory is only 40 mb out of 190mb. plese give me a solution to solve this.

Hi Jisho and welcome to Android forums.

The installed apps size is just the size of the app itself. However, many apps need additional space to store settings and other data relevant to you and that would take up the additional space.
