Hi, the fact you've done a reset and it's still not working right doesn't bode well. It is either a software problem but the reset would normally have fixed that. Other than that, it sounds like a hardware issue. It would be good to know the phone model and age and if you have perhaps dropped it recently.
I'd be inclined to check your warranty if you have one.
