The US Senate voted today to allow ISPs the ability to sell user data without permission - Reviews

Back in October, the FCC put some rules in place that would require ISPs such as Verizon and AT&T to have customer permission to sell their data. According to the FCC, this data includes "precise geo-location, financial information, health information, children's information, social security numbers, web browsing history, app usage history and the content of communications."
