It's available at alot of Redboxes for $1 for the entire first season (6 episodes) In case anyone wants to get a quick refresher and watch season 1 over again) or anyone else that wants to see what the fuss is all about with this show. I highly reccomend this series to anyone who isnt already following it. and for $1 for the entire season you can't beat it.

Very kewl.

yeah.. it is a very good show.

question... do zombies starve? when not able to find food... for a few weeks.. do they die? they are already dead.. so they just keep walking?

Nice. I liked the start of the show, started to get a bit lame, but toward the end of the first season, the last few shows saved them. A few charachters are a bit irritating, like his so called best friend. If they dont pick it up a notch, season 2 will be the end. These kinds of shows are really hard to write for. You end up with the same thing happening weekly.

yes, they do, which is why if there's a Zombie apocalypse its best to hold up somewhere and hide for a while. zombies are only half dead, significantly reduced cognitive ability, returning to only one instinct - eat to survive. Like us non-dead types, they still need sustainance in order to have energy to move.

Honestly? I was really dissappointed with S1. I was expecting an epic zombie apocalypse series and instead you got a pathetic wishy washy american soap opera with stereotyped, predicatble and frankly annoying characters and an injection of a zombie story line. I found it so bad that I didn't even watch ep6, and definitely haven't started S2. The fact that you can buy the entire series for just $1 is a fair reflection of how crap it is.

For the first part: That assumes that zombies have the same metabolism as living humans. Reptiles can last much longer on a single meal because they have slower metabolism. If zombie metabolism slows (which would make sense, as a lot of organs shut down), then they could last a lot longer without food.

For the second part: Redbox is a rental service that charges $1 for all rentals. Regardless of the content.

if all food source (live humans) are hiding /gone.. can zombies eat other zombies?

how can a the dead die? will they just wake back up... when food is there? hibernation?

Alright I will bump this. What did everyone think of the newest show?

Spoilers hidden ;)
I was impressed with how Rick reacted to the newcomers but I don't know how Hershel is going to react. If Hershel kicks them out will Maggie leave the farm since she loves Glenn or did his lack of response to her telling him that shoot that romance down?

Also what about Lori think she is going to be okay and the baby?

I thought 208 was a pretty good episode. It was better than most of the first half of this season. If nothing else, the ending alone made me think ok, I'll be back next week.

It's kind of hard to tell what is going to happen next. I've been keeping up with the books (issue 94 releases on 2/29/12 can't wait) but they can't really be relied on too much with the tv show. The big picture stuff matches between them but it's no exactly word for word.

One thing that's got me thinking is what will become of Shane? Dale figured out what happened to Otis. Then he told Lori. In the preview for next week's episode, even Andrea who agrees that while Shane did what needed to be done at the barn, he could have gone about it better. Alliances don't seem to be Shane's strong suit as of late. Just seems like Shane may hit that tipping point and
according to the comics, get shot by Carl when Carl sees Shane pointing a gun at Rick.

My only hope is that they get moving somehow. A good portion of the comic book series has the group never staying in one place too long. It'd be a lousy show if all it end up being was, we're surrounded by a zombie apocalypse but this farm is pretty safe. Let's just stay here. My gut's telling me it'll be a good second half to the season with a finale that'll really have us anxiously waiting for next season.

I've read most the comics too but they have pretty much strayed from there. No way out from the books won't happen at least not at the same location seeing as the guys from the last episode passed DC and the safe zone wasn't there.

Keep in mind they have only been on the farm for less than a week so for "it's pretty safe here" they have been thru a lot in that week already

Some things from the books that almost have to happen: Michonne and her samurai swords will appear st some point, they will get to the prison, and my prediction is Merle will make his grand re appearance as the Governor. (just guesses, not spoilers)

I figured Michonne will show up and they would get to the prison. I hadn't thought about Merle but that makes sense and would work.

I was also speculating that Merle will come back as the Governor.. and if I remember right the Governor has Ricks hand cut off... and Merle would have good motivation for having that done to him after being handcuffed to the pipes on the roof.

I saw a preview for the new season and one of the shots they showed was Daryl saying "sorry brother" and it looked like he shot after he said that.. Is this just another crazy dream? or maybe do they find Merle as a walker and Daryl does the honors of finishing him?

Nice way to end that episode.. Lori just planted a seed of evil into Rick and you know whats going to come from it

As for Michonne, there was a little leak on that front. A while back, some actor posted somewhere about being a "feature " walker and described his role very similar to one of Michonne 's walkers that she's introduced with in the books. It's also been suggested that she could be introduced either at the end of this season or the beginning of the next. I think it would be a pretty cool season finale ending to show some mysterious survivor slicing her way through a herd of walkers. Of course one would have to assume the group gets to the prison, or somewhere similar, in the next few episodes.

Has anyone else had the thought that the latest group of survivors Rick, Glenn and Hershel met in town are from Woodbury?

Another thing I'm wondering about is Theodore (T-Dog) 's character. Has he just been reduced to the token black guy in the show? Are they keeping him for a confrontation with Merle, as the Governor of Woodbury? In the most recent episode the only time we saw him was at the dinner table. When was the last time he even had a line?

So much to ponder on.

Geez! What an episode. We found out why he was saying Sorry brother.
Seriously does no one know how to watch after Carl? they are in a zombie apocolypse and they just let him wander off when ever he feels.
Whats your thoughts on the issue since it lead to the death of yet another main Character, and also not killing the prisoner
