a)what are the implications of the large file
b) is this a big deal
c)how can I make it smaller if it matters.
I tried to use a png optimizer and was able to shrink some of the pngs in eh (mostly stock vel 1.2) framwork res.
I also looked at the "biggest" pngs and some of them aren't used that I can tell(sense style lock screen) can these be deleted, or replaced with a super small png.)
it looks like the cdma signal bars aren't used
no sim card (really?)
I assume that both tricks will save some ram. but is it worth the effort.
