Themes for Play store

I hate bright backgrounds.

They are hard to read and probably waste battery power.

A dark background with bright text is the best.

Good contrast.

Easy to read in all lighting environments.

So I went looking for dark themes and found some nice ones BUT

They did not skin some things like the Play Store and some menus.

So, I found something to skin the Play Store but after a long while it stopped working and then my phone died and I don't know what it was.

So I was looking again and found BetterKat which works too well - often it makes menu's black on black in other apps. And it crashes UI when it is applied and removed, requiring a reboot.

BigDX has some like JB Extreme Theme Blue CM11 that look pretty good, I have not tried them yet. The title says CM11, but the requirements are ROOT, ROM that supports the Theme Engine, and CM 9, 10, 10.1, 10.2, 11. This is fine for me, and it looks like the author is actively fixing text=background color issues in other apps.

Thyrus has themes that skin Play Store like DarkUI Thyrusholo Theme CM11 which is for CM11 with a nightly May 8 2014 or later

I have not tried BigDX and Thyrus yet.

Has anyone tried these, how did it work out?

Are there any other themes that include Play Store that work well?

I have CM10, prolly CM11 soon, on a S3.
