What is the deal???

When you go to the internet site for the market place there seems to be a limited number of applications vs what is on the phones own market place???

I am confused......are they not the same???

Thanks,

Larry

Thanks for the link BTW.

I often want to read about the application to see if I will use it or to get a better way to use. That will be useful.

Thanks for the answer. It just seems misleading when you search it and come up with the Android market with only a handful of applications in it.

Something that bothers me about the Market is, there are no screen shots of the applications. Seriously, it is a tad ridiculous.

Really, it couldn't be that difficult for Google to mirror the market to a domain that could be accessed by a PC. Afterall, the G1 is reading from a google server right? Probably a few lines of code to automate.

This would be more efficient to browse and like GODMODE mentioned, it would allow for screenshots and other features that just don't work as well on a tiny screen to be implemented. (not to say that you couldn't have screen shots on the g1 as well)

Also, the G1 supporters wouldn't have to waste time updating an online market and could instead spend time developing more applications.
