Things have changed

I'm not sure EXACTLY when things changed. I have one window on my motodroid as contacts shortcuts. When I touch a contact a new window pops for msg, contacts, phone, email, and maps. It used to just start dialing and ringing, now I have to make another selection to call. Does anyone know how this extra step got introduced? I can see how it can be of some use, but the change baffels me. The only change that I made was the installation of LauncherPro Beta.

I don't know how, but your DIRECT DIAL shortcuts got turned into regular old CONTACTS shortcuts. Just change or remake your shortcut and make sure it's a direct dial.

You may need to set the default action for the contact. Go into People, select the contact, hit Menu > More and chose a default widget action.
