Thinking about buying the X....

and some other options. I've got an iPhone 5s, and with the news about ATT dropping their 2 year subsidies, the frenzy over the end-all-be-all flagship, and boredom over iOS, I've been looking at some of the more affordable Android-based options.

I've hear a lot of great things about the One Plus X (and their other phones), and I've heard a lot of bad. Bascially, when it comes to a phone, my big concerns are this:
Call Quality
Reliability/Smooth OS
Battery Life
Screen

I don't play games on my phone, I don't do heavy streaming, and I'm mostly on WiFi. I usually listen to music on my phone outside of calls, I'll scroll through Emails or news apps, and sometimes I'll stream a Youtube clip on data. I've looked at the Moto X and G, but there's something about the simplicity about the One Plus X that intrigues me (plus it has FM radio, which I think is kind of cool). Does anyone have any experience with the X? Hows the call quality? Is it a reliable little machine? It the lack of LTE band 17 (Im ATT) *that* much of a deterrent?

In my experience, if call quality is a concern you should look at Motorola phones. They have the most consistently reliable radios. But, if you want smooth operation with a big screen and long battery life, you're going to have to $pend. The budget phones (any brand) cut corners.
