Help Thinking about buying

It does not come unlocked. you can buy the unlocked version that costs more or get the att one with 1.6 on it locked and then unlock it to 2.2 using the QDL tool
 
purchased mine from bb may 4th,had 1.6 had notification update,i checked it .update availible android 2.2.2. works pretty slick.very happy with the streak
 
I got mine from BB and then sent a request to At&t to unlock it. I had it unlocked before the 30 day trail period was up. Not a big deal if you are a customer in good standing.
