Thinking about selling my Galaxy s7 for a Nexus 6p, should I do it?

I really want a true stock android expirence, I love that the buttons are on screen and no physical and the figner print sensor being placed on the back is a huge plus.

My MAIN reason for switching is that it offers a 128gb option which i 100% need! I DO have some MAJOR concersons:

1: Will it run the latest games fine without any lag?

2.It use a AMOLED display with on screen buttons, from what I have read that a no no as it can cause burn in, is this true?

3. I need pretty good audio quality, I heard it is pretty poor through the headphone jack. Is that true?

4. I am paying 30$ a month for my s7 through t mobile . Should I just sell it and then use that money for the nexus 6p ( I know dumb question)
 
List the main features you want in a phone (battery life, expandable memory, how quickly it gets OS updates, camera, wireless charging, etc.). Now list how many features the S7 has. List how many features the 6P has. Neither phone will have all the features you want. Both are great phones. You just need to pick the one that has the best offering of your "must have" features. I have the 6P. I like the quick OS updates and a phone without a lot of bloatware. I miss wireless charging and expandable memory. I have a 64G phone so I really don't need to expand it any more than that. I have used my 6P on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Project Fi - I like the ability to take one phone from carrier to carrier to see which carrier gives me the best service at the best price for where I live.

Yes, This is true of just about any flagship device

If you go looking for burn in. You will likely find it in the navigation bar. I've had this phone since launch and unless I purposely manipulate things to go looking for it (by painting your entire screen white in an app) I don't see it or notice it.

It sounds fine to me. I listen to podcasts/music for probably 5+ hours every day through them.

As for the headphone jack, it is "underpowered." High impedence headphones tend not to work well with the Nexus 6P, lower impedence headphones work fine -- this isn't necessarily unique to the 6P but Samsung does push more power to the headphones. This article talks a bit about headphone jacks, in general.

I find with my headphones, the 6P works fine and is loud enough. Others have complained that their headphones are not loud enough and, from what I can tell, it has to do with having high impedence headphones. Basically, Huawei does not provide as much power to the headphone jack as Samsung and HTC.
 
I have the same debate and already owned 6p. It's a great phone but the s7 beats it in every category I can think of except maybe the fingerprint sensor. Still I do miss the 6p.
 
With regard to the screen, I have not experienced any burn in. I have owned the phone for 8 months now and whenever I drive, I have Waze running.

In comparison, my old phone was the SGS3. I noticed burn in after 6 months using Waze every day.
 
My Galaxy S7 Edge crashed on the floor and so I needed a new phone. I looked into an S7 Edge replacement, but then I realized I could buy a Nexus 6P for over $200 less and get very similar features.

This was a no-brainer!
 
So I have only had my Nexus 6P for 24 hrs and honestly it rocks. I am a former Samsung employee and have bled Samsung blue for a long time but I decided I needed the change. It's well worth it especially considering the price.
