I currently have unlimited Data with Verizon and I do not want to loos it, also I am not able to get a new phone for abuot a year, contract is not up. I was thinkig of buying outright the new S6. If I buy it what advantages are there to it besides not being tied to the carrier after my older phone is off contract? Am I able to remove the bloatware since the phone is mine?

Thank you,
Steven

You won't be able to uninstall things that are installed as system apps without rooting. However, it sounds like the S6 will come with fewer pre-installed apps than previous models, and of course an offline phone will not have the bloat apps that the carrier themselves add.

I know nothing about adding offline phones to a VZW account, since we don't have CDMA networks where I am, but sure others can advise on the carrier-specific aspects.

Without rooting you will have the same bloatware and crapware that Verizon pushes out. The phone will be no different in any way from what you would get buying it from VZW. All you will save, like me;), is your unlimited plan.
