Thinking of switching to the Galaxy tab or note?

So I'm thinking I may switch the the Galaxy series tablets especially with the note 8 appearing soon. As much as I love my nexus devices, I have the 7 and 10, they are impossible to find good accessories for. The 7 has gotten much better after Almost a year of being out but the 10 is dismal. Anyone else have this frustration? Why does Google not do a better job promoting accessories for their flagship devices?

What kind of accessories are you looking for? I've got my case and small Bluetooth keyboard, can't think of much else I would ever need. Maybe a stylus? Hm.

I would like to see a keyboard with a mouse pad that had a battery in it that plugged into the pogo port that would extend battery life like the infinity has.

If you want official accessories for the Nexus 10 then it is indeed a poor choice.

Luckily I'm not fussed about official accessories, what I have I like and the device ticks the boxes I need/want it to.

Yeah I hear ya. I just wish there was a better selection of cases. I currently have a poetic and it's just ok. I'm writing this using my nexus 7 which is covered in the Seido active case and love it. I did email them about the 10 and the demand seems to be there. I use my tablets for work and play so I need good protection. Keeping my fingers crossed.

No I hear ya....to be honest, I've been a little let down.

I was really stoked about having the large front facing speakers, but they don't seem any louder than the speakers on my old, side firing, Galaxy Tab 10.1. As a matter of fact, my GF's iPad 2 (which has a back firing single speaker) is just as loud.

I was also excited about the doc shown in in the promo, but thats yet to be revealed.

The tablet was aslo designed to work with a smart cover that attaches directly to the back (where the narrow dimpled cover pops off), but no sign of that either.

The only device that works with the Pogo ports at the bottom is a charger from some chinese 3rd party manufacture, which doesn't yield much better results than using the micro-USB.

I was VERY bumbed when I found out that the out of the box Chrome browser has no Flash support.

And the icing on the cake was when I found out that there was no Miracast wireless mirroring capability, as was originally advertised on the Nexus 10 website.

Even still, its got a beautiful screen and will get the next few versions of Android on release (so long as the rumors about KLP not supporting Dual Core processors aren't true), so I'll keep it around.

If you're stuck on what accessories it comes with, you might just not be happy with the tablet itself. I never recognized it at first, but after going back and forth between tablets, and I finally got one that I was happy with, I got a decent set of accessories and all the other stuff just fell in the background..

This is true.. but to take it a step further, after all my apps redownloaded when I signed in, I was disappointed to find out every single app rendered as a stretched out phone app..

Cnet, engadget, dice with buddies, EVERYTHING

so annoying! Chrome and all the google apps (and amazon) are the only apps that are worth a crap on the n10.. other then some games.
