Thinking of switching

Ive been unhappy with my phone and my provider charging me 130 dollars everymonth for 2 lines full unlimited on one line and unlimited talk on second line tmobile, and my phone vibrant i dont even know where to begin with my first android exuse for a phone. I never had a worse phone considering how it would lagg and die before i get half way through my work day.

But my phone is in the past now yesterday it got boot looped and i gave it to the repair they said its 50 bucks to get the part and fix it.

What i really want is a cheaper courier and top of the line phones and preferably no contract. metro pcs seems appealing but im so tired of having a shitty phone and they dont really offer any good phones
q1: My friend said Metro has full unlimited internet unlike bullshit 8gigs that tmobile offer before cutting ur speed in half
q2: will there be better phones coming to metro in next couple of month?

So yeah what u guys think i should do? Thanks for all the advices and answers in advace
 
The connect is really cheap right now. I personally love the phone. The battery life sucks though, so you're gonna wanna get an extended battery for the phone. if you use a ton of data the $70 plan is the cheapest price you're gonna find anywhere for unlimited and unthrottled 4G data.

Make sure to check Metro's coverage map to see if they service your area.
 
You can still do 60 a month. Trust me It's tough to go over 5 gb unless you have your connection tied to your lap top or something.
 
Alright you guys all talking about connect is it better than Esteem? Tired of having a shitty phone so if im gonna get a new one I want the best I can get without overpaying for service.

UPDATE: Just researched Esteem vs Connect and Im confused on why esteem has a such high price tag for such outdated hardware, i mean I wish connect had HDMI port and LED but it still seams like a great deal. Sucks that I cant have galaxy III without paying double for service, will there be any good phones coming for metro any time soon?
 
I ask the same question brother. The Connect is better in every way except for the front-facing camera and the large screen.
 
The phone choice is totally subjective and personal preference. Connect owners love the Connect, Esteem lovers love the Esteem and so on.

I have the Esteem and love it, but I started with an Optimus M and loved that one too running CM7.

The best thing I can recommend is to go to Metro and look at each one. Compare size,feel and other physical differences. Hardware isn't as important as a lot of folks make it out to be unless you are going with one of their lower end devices such as the Admire(a decent starter Android for the price)

I know people will say dual core is the way to go but honestly with the way the dev community here is, all Metro's Androids are performing well above stock if you are going that route.

Like I said, it's all personal preference and what features you want. Whatever you choose good luck and welcome to Metro and AF.
 
Because the connect was doing so well in sells and they raised the price for the esteem in order for the connect to do well. They go after the bigger screen at times.
 
you cant go wrong with either phone but i recommend the connect simply because its cheaper right now. i believe someone said the promotion ends on the 30th.

The.connect is faster as in being able to answer a call while watching netflix vs. trying answer it and it freezes choose your pick
