This is pretty urgent, phone stuck with a black lock screen

Sorry in advance I'm really new to this and am expecting a phone call about a job so super urgent. Anyway,
I rooted my phone tried installing a custom ROM. (I think it was viper) anyway after doing what i THOUGHt was the right steps, my phone now has a lock screen which is completely black, It shows the time and the lock icon. I unlock it and it just shows a black screen. I've relocked the bootlocker thing. (which was probably stupid.) I can access the bootloader screen but apart from that can find nobody on here with the same problem. I wish I could take a picture of it but I took all my pictures using my phone -.- I REALLY need help :C

To be quite honest, I have no idea what version. I'm in England so as far as I know, It's HTC One x on the EE carrier over here. Thankyou so much for the quick reply.

I hate having to bump this, but now my phone is stuck in bootloader and quickly running out of battery, Too low to flash now. This mean I'm screwed or what?

Plug it in and turn it off. Should let it recharge.
