I picked up a Proclaim from Wally... Set up St on it.... Didn't really care for the phone as it was too small ... The camera wasn't that great... Set the fonts Huge ... too much hassle trying to scroll... Decided to take the phone back within the 15 day return window... Ordered up the Nexus 4 ..Called ST told them I had to return my phone to Wally before my return thing ran out.. however, my N4 wouldn't be in til the the day after.... I wanted to transfer my old number... Was assured no problem..

You are probably seeing where this is going kind of.... Sure as eggs... I called the next day to reactivate my old sim card in my new phone and was told the sim card could only be used once even tho it had been used with my old number on another phone. also my old phone number was no longer active... Was told they would reactivate it ... No problem.. ST said they would send me another sim card....I'm without a phone for 3 days.... Get the new sim.... St said they encountered an error and were having difficulty setting up my old number.... Finally they said they had it done.... I call my girlfriend.... She enquired as to why I had changed my phone number... "I didn't" I said... "Yes you did".... she said.... Found out they set me up on a new ph number probably thinking I wouldn't notice..... Yea right..what a bunch of low lifes.....

I call them back.... What the H-E double hockey sticks is going on.... Every time I call in I have to start over and explain everything..."Sir".. They said "we can change your old number over, however, we will have to send you another sim card, and it will be 3 to 5 days"... So, I'm still out of a phone... Good thing for Google voice.. At least I can make and take calls through my wifi.. ... "This time you will not have to say anything accept to give them your ticket number".... So here I am at the 2nd day of waiting on my second go around... Will see what happens .... I'm getting nervous....not to mention that I'm standing beside myself.... Now thats hard to do... ... Cheers.....:(

I ported my primary number to Google Voice a long time ago. Then as I hopped around from phone to phone and carrier to carrier, I've not cared what number they gave me. Google Voice makes all calls to my primary number follow to the new phones and all calls from the new phones come from my primary number. In fact, I have no clue what my underlying cell number is.

You are right ... however, because I don't have a phone server yet I can only do this trick with wifi internet.... Cheers... :D

Here's the latest.... My new sim card came in.... Call ST.... gave the info..... the guy got all my numbers including the ticket number , the IEMI number , SN, my new sim number.... He read me back the phone number which was my old number I wanted to transfer...... Everything is complete.... You are good to go.... Call someone and if it doesn't work call again in one hour.... great..... Still a little nervous.... Made the call.... I ask my friend what number came up on his phone ID...... Drum Roll....... It ain't your old number thats for sure..... OK ST you've got me ... I surrender... Thank God for Facebook, I can cover a good number of my friends to inform of my new ph number.... However, changing the number on my profiles on all my business dealings will take a while.... Technology.. love it or leave it... Cheers... :D
