Hello Everyone,

I've been to thing form maybe 3 times in total and I am very new to the world of rooting. Iv'e read a thread on this website about what rooting is and what are the risks of it. I am somewhat good with computers in general plus I am in school for programming so Iv'e used Unix and I currently have a laptop with Windows 8 and Linux running side by side.

My main question for you guys today is now that I know the risks of rooting, what are the benefits of it?

Thanks again, and I hope this is the beginning of what will be my into to Android rooting and experimentation!

There are many positives and negatives regarding rooting. There is also info on how to root, etc in the sub-forum for your phone.

If you click here and then scroll down until you find your phone, you'll find other users of your phone, who would be able to give you advice.
