Help This might be normal but thought I'd ask

Had my LG G2 D802 for a week now. Really liking it on the whole.
Just 2 things I noticed, this might be normal for users of this phone but thought I'd check. Feedback on whether you get the same or not would be appreciated.

(i) Device getting warm - I noticed when using the web browser the phone gets warm in the top half, including round the front of the screen. It cools down after a while when web browser is switched off. Also after playing a 3D game the device gets very very warm including the top half of screen, in fact if my phone rang when I was playing i would find putting it up to my ear at that temperature uncomfortable. Less graphical intensive games it hardly runs warm at all.
Are these events normal for this phone?

(ii) Camera phone - I came from the HTC One X, and whether indoors or outdoors the normal camera shots were always clear and crisp including when zooming in to an object. With this phone you get squares that turn white and then green and then white and then green etc as its trying to focus. When it goes green I take a normal shot. The image if im lucky comes out alrite but half the time it will be blurry so bit hit and miss. Seems very sensitive to the slightest movement. Also, when I zoom in to an object it blurs it which disappoints me, as its something that my HTC One X didnt do.

As for the camera, sounds like you might be doing something wrong if have switched to a different setting. With the OIS (Optical Imaging Stabilization), you shouldn't be getting blurry images. This is the biggest feature LG brags about in their commercials. I don't have issues, so you might need to switch to the auto settings.

What you feel is the warming of the powerful multi-core processor, no need to worry about ... unless its heat affects the battery's temperature.
What you'd look it's the battery's temperature ... because it's the phone's most sensitive component.

The Li-Ion battery's allowed max temperature is for discharging 60C (140F) and for charging 45C (113F).
If the battery remains below this temperatures that means it doesn't represent any danger.
But high temperatures of the battery over extended periods of time will decrease the battery's lifetime.

My battery temperature has never got above 37C so far (when I was playing a 3D game, and running Antutu benchmark tests) so Im guessing its just something Im going to have to get used to. I'll just have to hope noone rings me when it gets that warm, i'll have to wait for the phone to cool down before ringing them back lol.

Interestingly, the camera today has been taking better photos. Its autofocusing quicker and taking better shots when the focusing goes to those green squares.
Re the camera, the auto focusing goes out of focus for a few seconds and then back in focus for a few seconds and vice versa. Ive never had a phone camera that does that before. Do you think LG will provide some updates to make this better?

Something else I noticed this morning for the first time, I switched my phone off last night and when I switched it on this morning it was showing the time as 10:24 when in fact it was 9:05. When I switched wifi on it corrected itself.

Just tap to focus then. Get it out of auto and choose manual or face tracking. There are plenty of settings. Choose the one that works for you.

Yes. Smartphones get warm. Play the same thing on an iPhone. You'll see what hot is.
