This phone sucks compared to the Droid 2 :(

I got myself a Droid 4 after loving my Droid 2 for 2 years until its screen cracked. Sadly, choosing this phone was a terrible mistake; I hate how cheap the keyboard is compared to my Droid 2, the letters scratched off within a couple of months of use. Also, the Motorola-clogged software is terribleee, even after the jellybean update. I remember Droid 2 was a "toned down" version compared to other Motorola phone software, and boy am I feeling the difference now.

Also the camera software, browser functions, and long-press menu options are crappy.

Anyway, any of you feel the same? comfort me, please

Absolutely. This phone is a bitter disappointment.

ON PAPER, it is a tower of achievement, but there was no end in flakiness to it.

Hate the camera.
Hate the Motorola software.
Hate the ghosting screen.
Love the keyboard in principal, but find it flaky far too often.
There's more I hate & resent (none of it "Android's Fault"), but it's not worth getting angry any longer at it. It's a done deal....gone and forgotten now.

I'm now onto the Samsung Note II. Giving that a try. Crossing my fingers that the 5.5" screen will make the touchscreen-keyboard useable for me.

I'm sure there will be "rah rah go team" folks that hate posts like this. So be it.
