Just got the S6 Edge Plus on Verizon. I'm not too impressed yet. Coming from a S4 I don't see much difference other than a bigger more vibrant screen which is really nice though. Maybe a smidge faster but..
I guess because of my limited time with the phone and not being the most knowledgeable person on phones. Having some issues with the phone as well and any help would be appreciated.
Why can't the phone use data and have a call at the same time unless you enable HD calling? My S4 did this with no problem. Is HD calling a good thing or bad thing. Also I read elsewhere that the default phone settings are set to global, I changed it to LTE/CDMA, is that better?
Also and this might sound trivial but I use the GPS app Waze a lot as I am a trucker driver. On my S4 it would scroll smoothly as I moved. With the S6 its choppy or in steps. Now I know most people aren't looking at the screen as they drive but it bugs me that its choppy. I downloaded GPS test and its pulling in about the same amount of sats and the info looks identical to my S4. Anyway to remedy this? Is it the newer version of Android doing this or the hardware/settings on my S6.
Thanks for any help
