Thoughts on new backup app

After 5 long months of development, we created a fully featured, fast, smart and modern backup utility app for Android - Pod Backup.

Our initial plan was to create an update to one of our first apps - Velkro: Backup & Restore but we realized for the app to be best, it needed to be redesigned from the ground up. Some of the features of the app are below:

• Backup and restore your contacts, messages, and apps
• Support for a variety of growing formats (currently supports JSON, Excel, Text)
• Smart Import Technology - accurately merges duplicate contacts and SMS, never any data loss
• Picture/MMS support
• Selective import and export allows you to optionally backup only the stuff you want to
• Transfer and store your files on the cloud
• Google Drive integration and sync
• Scheduled Backups

I think you may want to produce a copy of your privacy policy... which someone can read as a whole instead of having it broken into those tiny sections. It should also cover what information is stored on your servers, and how long its stored for.. simply saying "information is stored as long as you use the service" is probably not suitable in the post GDPR world.
