it would be nice to see windows mobile being discussed again. if you want a business phone then it don't get better then this: windows office pre installed and as for email: outlook...so take that BB.
has anyone noticed how good the camera is on the new windows 7 phones ?

i played with them... and thought it was kind of stupid how the menu
/UI system works.

it is very linear... cant just jump around the UI

Actually it's Windows Phone these days rather than Windows Mobile. Any apps from the older Windows Mobile are NOT compatible with the new OS.

Thing is Windows Phone has been out for a year now, but I've yet to see one for real. Although that may change now that Nokia is doing Windows Phone rather than Symbian. I've seen plenty of iPhones, Blackberrys, Android phones of course, I even had a BREW phone once, but never seen Windows Phone. A company I used to work for used Windows Mobile devices for data-logging and a Besta CD980 Chinese electronic dictionary I've got here also uses a version of Windows Mobile or CE.

Microsoft had the Zune media players out for five years, never saw one of them at all.

I had a Zune. It's a shame that iPods were so much further ahead, because it was a better player, IMO. Bulky, yes, but when you consider the iPod color's screen was the size of a quarter and was touting that you could watch movies on it, where the Zune actually had a decent screen...the choice was easy.

I've yet to see any in London either. A lot of marketing but people aren't buying.

It look like a good OS for people who are technically challenged. I'm looking to get a couple for my parents.

I work in IT. I know of 2-3 that my clients are using. They seem to be more popular in enterprise because of how seamlessly they integrate with Exchange. Android phones and even iPhones can be buggy with their Exchange integration at times.
