Although many websites list this phone as having FM, the LG website and AT&T's website do not, for some reason. FM capability is not addressed in the 97-page User Manual, and the one reference on the AT&T website (a tutorial for the Thrive) specifically says "The LG Thrive (P506) does not have an FM radio. AT&T Radio is available. This tutorial will cover the operation of AT&T Radio." So, I was confused. Of course, I found that one of the choices in the pre-loaded AT&T Radio app IS an FM tuner. At first I thought this was streaming from AT&T, but it works even in "airplane mode" when neither wifi nor cell service is available, and there is no lag at all compared to my local radio station. And no data was being expended from my data plan. So apparently there really is an actual tuner inside the phone. I would think they would want to emphasize this feature more.
