tick with texting

Hi,

When I send a SMS it normally always shows a tick next to the sent text. I assume this meant it was sent? But Im not sure.

Anyway I have snet a couple of text to a friend which it says the time sent, but does not have the "tick" next to them?

What does this mean, that she never got them? Or hasnt read them, or something else?

As I can tell the "tick" is for the messages that you sent. The ones without it is for the received ones. Check to see if that is the same case for you (it is for me).
