Tiger GBA Save File Question

So, basically I have a droid... and I am getting an EVO shift (switching to sprint from verizon). I am going to use my 16g card in the shift... however on my tiger GBA, I want to make sure my save files are still accessible and loadable on the new phone. Does anyone know how to ensure this?

do you even have to re install the apps if you switch the SD cards? and will it show up different on the EVO?

I know this is alot of questions but I really don't want to lose my save files on some of my games.
 
Well for those of you who care to know the answer to this question, just switching my SD card and re installling tiger gba from the market kept my save files and everything on my new phone :D
