Help time and phone errors?

I got the edge as soon as pre orders were ready and i got it 2 days ago by mail.
the problem is i smart synced my other phone to the new one so i probably got app data and all that from my old android.

My phone seems like freeze for 5 to 10 seconds now and then and ive had like 2 restarts by itself.

That i can handle with but its a bit weird but my major issue is that my time wont sync properly and its driving me crazy. I put it on auto network sync and it keeps going out of sync! I even manually entered the time and it went out of sync again and again ...
what am i supposed to do ? Faulty phone ?

does it occur in safe mode?
if so, a factory reset may need to be done. if the issue persists after that, then I would exchange it for another phone.
if not, then a 3rd party app is causing the instability. disable or uninstall apps that you have recently installed or upgraded. good luck
