I just bought a Dragon Y88X tablet running 4.4.2. I took it out of the package and put it on to charge. While it charged, I played around with the features and set every thing up except for wifi. I'd read in several tutorials that it takes a while to for the encryption process to complete so I let it go all night. This morning, When I checked it, it was still showing the Android encryption logo. nothing else. It doesn't show % complete or any thing else, just the android logo. Should I do a factory reset and start over? Did I miss a step?
On a related subject, I put a 8GB sd card in and the tablet reconised it but I didn't see an option to encrypt it. Is that a feature in 4.4.2? I'm mainly going to use this tablet for business purposes so I'd like to keep it secure. Any tips? Thank you for any help given. This looks like a great fouum.
