well due to job situation i will probably move to a rural area for at least 6 months. checked the coverage and it says 2G . and this is exactly what it says
Your 2G Coverage is:
Satisfactory
You can usually connect outdoors, sometimes in cars, and maybe in buildings.

in reality i have been there couple of days ago. outdoor connection is intermittent and signal strength is around 115 dbm 2asu or so but not solid, drops often. in the car and inside buildings no signal at all.
i think this is a punishment for all my whining for the last 5 months for lack of LTE at my current location. coming back to bite my proverbial behind

Aio amigo
have been browsing about other carriers. does AIO allow you to have any data after 2.5 GB 4G allotment? if not, not good. been spoiled by metropcs. 40~50 GB a month :p. oh! metro, i take back all the harsh things i said :o.

boost has a tiny bit better signal there but barely. officially out of voice coverage but has 4G  http://androidforums.com/6554062-post3.html
GSM options with nexus 5:
AIO
straight talk
H2O

opinions and experiences guys?

I think a booster or maybe putting a tower within that area bam you may be set . the signal may be low now cause they removed it to make a better way to boost signal.

Maybe try another carrier for 30 days if nothing in July stay or move to another carrier that has the best signal . this maybe a time to try out other companies .

You are probably going to be like me or gman can't leave the metro family..

i am thinking about test driving straight talk with att sim to see unthrottled speed of lte and h2o for unlimited data at hspa (best) to 3g (worst). lets see what happens.
