On the basis purely that the N1 will get faster updates, as it is stock.

The Bravo is not as nice a looking handset in my opinion. Horrible plastic back, home etc buttons.

I don't see Sense as being a big OS upgrade now either, not with all the functions 2.1 has.

Yeah, I don't think much of the Bravo's physical buttons, either. I hate buttons, and the body seems plasticky and cheap to me. Teflon coating for the win.

As proven by the recent OTA. I'm still impressed they came out with an update so soon.

Ya thats kinda the way i feel now. I had been leaning toward waiting for the Sense wielding Bravo but now that theres pinch zoom available, Sense just doesn't seem all that much of an improvement anymore.

Hardly. Even if you really crave Sense, you can wait for when the Bravo comes out and flash its ROM onto the N1. The hardware's nearly identical anyway, except that the N1 is available now and still cutting-edge, whereas by the time the Bravo comes out (April or March?), the 1 GHz Snapdragon and all will start getting dated.

Hate to play devil's advocate, but doesn't that meen that maybe neither are worth splurgin for now..and it may just be worth waitin it out for the next wave of androids thats bound to come.

If you follow this mantra, you will forever waiting for the next big thing & never get into an Android phone.

That's technology product life cycles for you I'm afraid..... ;)

Stop being tiresome and go play with your uncustomizable, user-unfriendly BB or something.

My point is that if the N1 hits all the right spots for you, or most of the right spots, you might as well get it now while the hardware's still "hot" because chances are the Bravo will do more or less the same for the hypothetical you. Personally? I'm not waiting it out anyway because there's nothing coming up that remotely fits my desires. HTC Supersonic? Cute, but too big. Lenovo Lephone? Shit form factor. Nexus Two? I don't need/want hardware keyboard. Motorola anything? MotoBlur can go die in a fire. Etc, etc.
